Trail Running Race in Kami Town, Hyogo Prefecture (November 2021)
In November 2021, I participated in a trail running race held in Kami Town, Hyogo Prefecture. To reach the race venue, I traveled by train and bus. Due to the early start, I stayed overnight at a nearby accommodation. Unfortunately, access to the venue wasn’t very convenient.
Since the race was held during the winter season, it was quite cold. I had also heard that bears might appear in this area.
The race course was designed as a loop, with three laps totaling 100 km. I’m pleased to say that I successfully completed the race in huarache sandals.
