Trail Running Race in Nagano Prefecture (July 2022)
In the summer of 2022, I participated in a trail running race held in Nagano Prefecture, located in central Japan.
The race was postponed due to the impact of COVID-19, but I managed to participate. Access to the venue wasn’t very convenient, and the weather was poor, with heavy rain alternating between downpours and breaks.
The race started at midnight, so I used a headlamp from the beginning. The course followed forest roads, making the scenery monotonous and somewhat boring. I’m pleased to say that I successfully completed this race in huarache sandals as well.
