I had opportunity to go on amazing trail with guys in Oct 2020. The route traced the course of FAIRY TRAIL held in Kutsuki Shiga Japan.It took about 4 hours to travel by train and car from Osaka.This year, some away race I had entered was canceled because of Covit-19. Therefore, I didn’t have the opportunity to go to the mountains of other prefectures far away, so it was a long time since I moved on an away race and this trail route was my first time route and I felt very excited.
FAIRY TRAIL are divided into three categories:SUPER LONG , LONG , SHORT. The qualification to participate in the SUPER LONG is to have completed trailrunning race of 50 km or more in the past or experience completing the full marathon 42km within 4 hours and LONG is to have completed full marathon or have completed tailrunning race of 35km or more in the past and SHORT is is to have completed half marathon or have completed trailrunning race of 15km or more in the past.
The distance of SUPER LONG is 60km and time limit is 12h30min and LONG is 40km and time limit is 9h30min and SHORT is 20km and time limit is 7h30min.The race organizer describes TAIRY TRAIL as follows:The characteristic of the SUPER LONG 60km is that it goes deep into the natural mountains, which is isolated from the city and it is difficult to enter this mountain by yourself and we want you to feel the atmosphere of an exciting forest.
